Via della Fiaba is a route between Pescia and Collodi designed to pay homage to Pinocchio, the famous puppet.

The route is mainly on mule tracks and dirt roads and is well signposted. We start from Via Sismondi We climb Via della Cappella, a steep mule track flanked by olive groves. In the Piana area, we skirt the Valchiusa school complex and, after passing two wayside shrines, we climb a short slope to the Croce della Cappella. We cross Via Monte a Pescia and descend onto the path, continuing along Via di Chiari, the gateway to Marzalla. Here, the route splits into three roads: we take the one straight ahead on a mule track and then the one on the right, still among the olive groves. We cross the Rio della Cappella and, following the Rio Dilezza, we reach the medieval bridge. After crossing it, a steep, paved climb begins towards Marzalla. We reach the Betti area, where the path levels out, and we turn right towards Collodi.
